Home buying process:
We want to get to know you and find out exactly what you are looking for in a Realtor and a home. We can best serve you when we know exactly what your needs and wants are, then we will create a tailored plan for your home buying journey.
Meet with a lender.
This is a great opportunity to discuss your loan options and budgeting with your lender. Your lender will use the information you provide to determine the maximum amount you can borrow and provide you with preapproval. If you don’t have a lender, we can refer you to several we know and trust.
Let’s look at homes!
This is the fun part! Based on our conversations, we will send you listings to look through that match the homes and neighborhoods you are interested in. We will schedule showings and visit open houses of the ones you love.
Prepare and make an offer.
When you are ready to make an offer, we will outline the essential details that will make your offer stand out. If the seller makes a counter offer, we will negotiate on your behalf and advocate for the outcome that benefits you the most.
The seller accepts your offer!
This is great news! Just a few more steps to complete to get the keys to your new home. Now it’s time for the inspection which will flush out any major deficiencies the home may have and provide you with a guidebook on how everything in your home works.
Now it’s time for you to work closely with your lender to complete required paperwork and provide the necessary documentation for them to finish the loan process. It’s important to stay in touch with your lender at this time to ensure the/y have everything they need to close on time.
Close and get your keys!
It’s finally closing day, congratulations! At closing, we will all meet with your lender representative or closing attorney to review and sign all your loan documents. Once this is complete, we hand over the keys and you can move in!
