About Us

We are John and Stephanie Livingston, The Livingston Real Estate Team. We are Realtors with Hunziker & Associates and work with buyers and sellers of real estate in Central Iowa. We specialize in residential, commercial and investment properties in Ames, Ankeny, Des Moines and the surrounding communities. We believe in building a trusting and lasting relationship with each client and providing them with personalized, focused and skilled representation.

Having grown up in Ames, we feel a strong connection to our city. We both graduated from Ames High and while one of us (Stephanie) went to Iowa State and received a B.S. in Exercise Science, the other (John) was busy building a successful local business. We have built our lives and careers in Ames because we love its atmosphere and sense of community.

When we find a little down time, we definitely take advantage! Our family loves football and baseball and we cheer for the Iowa State Cyclones, New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. If the Pats or Sox play anywhere close to Iowa, we are there! Especially if they are having a wicked-good season! We also enjoy rooting for Ames High’s Little Cyclones, where Reagan (John’s daughter) is a straight-A student and a cheerleader.
